     Definition of machinery

The machinery mentioned in the Machinery Directive includes a single machine, a group of related machines and replaceable equipment.

1 Machinery

A machine refers to a machine driven by non-human or other animal forces, equipped with or designed to be equipped with a drive system, composed of several parts, and at least one part can move, and is designed to complete a specific Use equipment; ( 99% of the production and processing equipment used in the factory belong to the machinery defined here )

6 Removable mechanical transmission device The removable mechanical transmission device refers to the transmission device installed between the power source and the driven equipment. Depending on the type of machinery and components, other directives other than the Machinery Directive may still apply. Other directives include EMC directive, low voltage directive, simple pressure vessel directive, and pressure vessel directive.

Dangerous machinery

Dangerous machinery (machines that fall within the scope of Annex IV of the Machinery Directive )

The 2006/42/EC Machinery Directive has a clear distinction between "general machinery" and those considered particularly dangerous ( Appendix IV machinery ) . Before proceeding with the steps to comply with the directives and specifications, it is important to distinguish whether your machine is an Annex IV machine.

Dangerous machinery mainly consists of the following types :

1 Circular sawing machine ( single saw blade or multiple saw blades ) , the following equipment used to process wood and similar wood or processing meat and similar meat materials :

4 Band saw machine, the following equipment used to process wood and similar wood or processing meat and similar meat materials :

4.1 A band saw machine with a fixed or reciprocating bed or support, and the saw blade is fixed during cutting ;

4.2 Band saw machine with saw blade mounted on reciprocating movable frame ;

5 Combination machinery of wood and similar wood material processing machinery listed in Articles 1 to 4 and 7 ;

6 Manually fed woodworking tenoner with multiple tool rests ;

7 Manually fed, vertical wood and similar wood material processing machinery ;

8 hand-held woodworking chain saw ;

10 Plastic injection or extrusion molding machinery that uses manual loading and unloading ;

12.2 Hydraulic support equipment ;

13 Manual loading vehicles equipped with compression devices and used to collect household garbage ;

14 Removable mechanical transmission device and its protective cover ;

15 The protective cover of the detachable mechanical transmission device ;

17 Lifting equipment for lifting people or goods with a vertical height of more than 3 meters ;

The dangerous machinery listed above generally requires the Notified Body (verification agency ) to pass the EC type-examination ( type inspection ) of the product before the CE mark can be posted on the product.
