We can issue a certificate of registration (CRC) for suppliers that meet one or more series of standards. If one of these standards is approved, in the case of technical, technical SMS, economic and legal or partial approval of the standard, the certificate may be extended to other standards.

The validity period of the CRC certificate is up to one year. The validity period is determined by the minimum effective date of the technical, economic and legal standards. Because the economic and legal standards of Pakistan are updated annually, we suggest to re-submit 60 days before the deadline. Application. As long as the supplier obtains technical approval, the technical standard shall be automatically extended.

About CRC certificate promotion

The supplier can disclose the CRC registration certificate he owns within the validity period, but does not use PETROBRAS's trademark or any graphic representation to convey certification information.

If the supplier uses the certificate improperly, this will be a serious mistake and will be sanctioned by PETROBRAS registration and may prevent future negotiations and contacts with the Petrobras system.

The role of CRC certification

CRC registration is used as a tool for qualification and prequalification, and the PETROBRAS Clerk Review Office plays an important role in the qualification and prequalification stage before contract approval.

Before participating in the recruitment process, registered suppliers can ensure in advance that they meet the qualification requirements in the bidding documents. Therefore, CRC registered suppliers are exempt from submitting documents during the recruitment process, thereby minimizing the risk of disqualification.

According to the Petrobras Petrobras Bidding and Contract Regulations (RLCP) Article 22, registration is used as a tool for qualification and pre-qualification.

Bid notification: Another advantage of registered CRC suppliers is that they will receive timely notifications about the latest bidding.

In particular, whenever a new announcement is made on the portal Petronect, Petrobras will notify the registered companies related to the subject of the contract bidding in its CRC system by e-mail, and notify the other party to provide goods or services.

This reduces the need to manually monitor bid publications in the official registration (DOU) or Petronect portal, thereby optimizing the process of finding and evaluating suppliers.

Participation exemption due to the bidding process

The CRC registrant has another advantage: participation is abstained due to the recruitment process, that is, supplier rotation. Petrobras uses this method to rent goods and services until it reaches the limit of giving up bidding due to value.

Therefore, those interested in participating in the PETROBRAS supplier rotation must register with CRC in advance.
